	Where in our unique and interesting state (New Mexico) is this? Many of my native New Mexican friends will take a puzzled look at this postcard and declare that "It's around the Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu," or "On the way to Grants," or "South of Socorro." In reality, the landscape is that of the planet Mars, extracted from a public domain image generously provided by NASA. The church is that of San Francisco de Asís Catholic Mission Church in Taos, a stock image purchased and licensed for commercial use. It's not hard imagining the Francicans establishing a mission on Mars, once that opportunity becomes reality.
